The Rukka Nivala 3 jacket is a top-of-the-range, all-season touring motorcycle suit with an unrivalled Gore-Tex Pro 3-layer laminated outer, improved impact protection and extra warmth for extreme winter conditions.
Upgrading on the hugely popular Nivala 2, the A-rated Nivala 3 boasts a Gore-Tex Performance Technology stretch membrane, laminated to a lightweight, high-tech aramid fibre Cordura shell, 100% breathable, windproof and waterproof performance suitable for year-round, all-weather riding. The Gore-Tex Stretch material extends to the removable storm collar and waterproof cuffs, which can be integrated into your helmet and gloves to prevent water from entering through the neck and wrists.
Cold-weather versatility has been improved, with the extra-warm, detachable duck-down jacket now boasting 135g filling (90/10 down/feather) that effectively retains heat on the bike and can be easily packed away when not in use. The soft neoprene collar and detachable waterproof storm collar also provide additional comfort and waterproofing. Ventilation openings at the front and back of the sleeves, shoulders, chest, back and sides offer optimal airflow to reduce internal temperature.
For impact protection, this Rukka jacket is equipped with CE level 2 D3O Air XTR protectors at the shoulders and elbows, an improved CE level 2 D3O CP2 full chest protector, and a Rukka D3O Air XTR back protector, ensuring maximum protection. The jacket also features lightweight, stretchy PU Tek reinforcements on the shoulders and elbows, highly resistant to tears and abrasions, providing excellent slide protection alongside the durable Cordura 1500D fabric.
The sleeves are fitted with zippers to insert your glove cuffs easily, and a connecting zip to any Rukka trousers, including the accompanying Nivala 3 trousers, forms a one-piece suit. The garment features plenty of storage, including two exterior waterproof zippered pockets, interior and liner pockets, and a new zipped card pocket on the left sleeve.
