The Scorpion Exo-1500 Air is an ECE 22.06 premium touring helmet with an improved aerodynamic shell, AIRFIT inflation system, adjustable internal sun visor and Optical Class 1 aspherical face shield.
The Exo-1500 Air delivers a quieter, more refined touring experience, with its improved aerodynamic shell providing enhanced stability and reduced drag. The reengineered interior structure helps to reduce noise, making long-distance journeys quieter and more comfortable, while the upgraded premium finish adds a sophisticated look to the helmet.
Visibility has been taken to the next level with the new adjustable internal sun visor and aspherical face shield. Both feature Optical Class 1 optics, with varied thicknesses designed to improve visual accuracy, reduce glare and minimise distortion. The sun visor’s height adjustment allows riders to fine-tune their field of vision, particularly useful when dealing with low-angle sunlight and changing light conditions.
The AIRFIT system allows the rider to personalise the fit of the helmet using air-adjustable cheek pads, providing a secure and comfortable fit while also helping to reduce noise. For riders looking for maximum performance with minimum weight, the EXO-1500 AIR is also available in an ultra-light Carbon edition.
The helmet’s Cool-Tech moisture-wicking liner provides effective cooling and is soft, hypoallergenic, removable and machine washable, making it well suited to long days in the saddle. Adjustable, indexed front and rear vents work with the aero-tuned rear spoiler to maximise airflow through the helmet, while the breath deflector and Pinlock MAX-VISION system help provide enhanced fog-free performance in changing temperatures.
An additional smoke face shield is included, complete with tear-off pins and MaxVision XLT readiness. The upgraded emergency-release cheek pads make helmet removal easier following an accident, while the chin cover helps reduce noise and the ratchet strap provides a secure and convenient fastening system.
