The Quad Lock Universal Adaptor is a slim and secure locking device that easily attaches to the back of smartphones and cases and is compatible with all twist and lock mounts.
This adaptor is designed to be used only once and is made of sturdy composite material. It has a slim, flat profile with slightly curved surfaces and comes with adhesive on the underside for easy installation.
The adhesive is a 3M semi-permanent self-adhesive tape that can only be removed with gentle heat. For the best results, when using this adaptor on smartphones or cases, it is important to ensure that the area where you apply the adaptor is clean and dry; maximum adhesion is reached after 24 hours.
It’s important to know that the Quad Lock Universal Adaptor works specifically with Quad Lock’s twist and lock mounts and cannot be used for wireless charging. On the other hand, the Quad Lock Universal MAG adaptor is compatible with all Quad Lock original and MAG mounts and heads and can be used for wireless charging.
Please note that the self-adhesive will not bond with the following materials:
- Rubber, TPU, TPE
- Leather
- Silicone
- Hydrophobic-coated glass (Also known as anti-fingerprint glass, which is found on the back of most modern smartphones)
- Soft touch coating or paint
- Low surface energy plastics such as Polypropylene (PP), Polyethylene (PE), Acetal, HDPE
- Wood
Quad Lock strongly suggests using a case with the Universal Adaptor if you have a glass back to your phone.
