The Alpinestars SP-5 Gloves are constructed from full-grain leather; offering abrasion resistance; a velcro closure system and a comfortable ergonomic design.
Alpinestars’ exclusive ergonomic stretch insert between the palm and thumb improves the range of hand movement and sensitivity while operating bike controls. The pre-shaped finger construction and Velcro cuff closure provide a secure and highly personalized fit for performance riding. An innovative microfiber and PU grip inserts are strategically positioned on the palm and thumb to enhance grip control and durability.
Ergonomically profiled synthetic suede reinforcements on the pinky sidewall provide maximum abrasion resistance in key impact zones; whilst the premium full-grain leather palm construction ensures durability and superior abrasion resistance. An advanced over-moulded polymer knuckle protector offers excellent impact performance; while the palm and fingers are padded with energy-absorbing EVA foam for additional protection. Alpinestars’ patented third and fourth finger bridge prevents seam failure and finger separation during a slide.
Constructed from highly abrasion-resistant; full-grain leather; the SP-5 glove features rugged polymer knuckle protection; ensuring high levels of protection; movement; and comfort. The top surface combines high-performance synthetic leather with perforated goat leather for optimized comfort; durability; and cooling airflow.
