The Montreal 5.0’s fully seam-sealed Dry2Dry waterproof membrane and thermal 3M Thinsulate lining is just as suited to battling the elements crossing continents, as it is the more mundane wet winter’s day commute. The fleece lining provides next-to-skin comfort, trapping heat to keep hands warm and snug.
Protection is considered throughout, the abrasion-resistant goatskin leather palm is overlaid with Amara reinforcement panels in key zones for a superior grip and durability. An injection moulded knuckle protector provides impact resistance, with targeted foam underlays further adding to the protective shell.
A quick-release cuff adjustment system uses a shock cord to tighten the fit, whilst pulling on the webbing tab releases the tension – ideal for quickly changing in and out of gear. An additional hook-and-loop wrist strap adds an extra layer of adjustment. To top it off, there’s also a visor wipe and touchscreen compatible forefinger and thumb.
