The Rukka Nivala 3 trousers are the perfect partner to the Nivala 3 jacket, creating a top-of-the-range, all-season touring suit with an unrivalled Gore-Tex 3-layer laminate, improved impact protection and extra warmth for extreme winter conditions.
Designed as a complete system with the Nivala 3 jacket, these A-rated trousers share the same core technology: a lightweight, stretch polyamide shell with a 100% breathable, windproof and waterproof Gore-Tex Performance Technology membrane, laminated for all-weather riding. Strategically placed CORDURA 1500D and lightweight PU Tek reinforcements on the hips, knees, and inner leg ensure exceptional abrasion resistance.
For cold-weather versatility, the trousers are equipped with separate extra-warm down trousers featuring an 82g filling (90/10 down/feather). This liner effectively retains heat on the bike and can be easily packed away when not in use. Ventilation openings on the front and back of the thighs offer optimal airflow to manage internal temperature.
The trousers are equipped with CE Level 2 D3O Air XTR hip and knee/shin protectors for maximum impact protection, matching the jacket’s premium safety rating. A suite of touring-focused features includes the Rukka AirCushion and Antiglide system in the seat for long-distance comfort, heat-resistant leather knee patches, a fully adjustable waist and leg bottoms, and detachable braces.
A key feature is the long connecting zip that seamlessly integrates with the Nivala 3 jacket to form a secure, one-piece suit. The Rukka trousers also provide practical storage with two exterior water-resistant zippered pockets and an interior pocket in the down liner.
With the same six-year manufacturer warranty upon registration, the Nivala 3 trousers complete a suit built for riders who prioritise the highest level of protection, stretchy flexibility, and year-round comfort.
