The Rukka Nivala trousers are a premium touring garment, with a triple-layer waterproof Gore-Tex laminate membrane, malleable D30 protection and four-season adaptability.

The trousers‘ Armacor shell consists of high-tech aramid fibre, Cordura textile and additional strength at the knees, with a fixed three-layer Gore-Tex laminate layer that offers optimal tear and abrasion resistance, repels water and protects you from the wind while keeping you dry and comfortable.

The Nivala has an extremely warm, detachable duck-down jacket with 70g filling (90/10 down/feather) that not only provides optimal thermal retention on the bike but can also be worn as a separate garment! For long-term comfort, the trousers utilise an innovative AirCushion on the inside seat that reduces condensation, acts as a climate buffer and enhances comfort, with an Antiglide Keprotec material seat to prevent sliding!

Rukka’s patented Air protectors at the knees provide maximum protection and passive safety. The trousers also feature zip closure vents at the inner thighs for direct ventilation, as well as elasticated panels on the sides of the trouser, above and below the knee provides freedom of movement. The double-tightening waist closure will ensure the trousers never fail you, and zip and velcro adjusters at the cuffs allow you to fit the trousers over your boots without stretching.

The trousers also boast a connecting zip to any Rukka jacket to form a one-piece suit (including the Rukka Nivala jacket), come readily equipped with braces for a secure fit, reflectors on the rear calves and two waterproof zippered pockets on the front.
