The Rukka Rimo-R is a summer mesh jacket with a Gore-Tex laminate membrane, a comprehensive ventilation system and reinforced Cordura panels.
The Rimo-R takes advantage of Rukka’s AirPower technology for comfortable riding in even the hottest weather conditions. Featuring a Cordura AFT outer, this softshell jacket incorporates a knitted mesh structure that allows excellent perforation, which in tandem with the wind and waterproof Gore-Tex two-layer laminate membrane, protecting against sudden rain or storms. Abrasion-resistant Cordura 500D panels on the shoulders and elbows increase protection at high-contact areas of your upper body.
The interior mesh lining encourages cool air circulation which enters the jacket at 8 different points: 4 zippered vents on the arms, 2 at the chest, and another 2 on the sides of the garment. This ventilation system effectively lowers your body temperature to keep you from overheating in the summer heat, and flushes humidity out the rear exhaust to prevent inflating.
The jacket features pockets to accomodate Rukka’s patented D30 Air XTR armour at the shoulders and elbows (not included), as well as a pocket at the back for an additional D3O back protector (not included).
The jacket also includes an adjustable waistband and sleeves with Velcro straps, and snap fasteners at the upper arm for a customised fit. The connecting zip allows you to combine your Rimo-R jacket with any Rukka trouser, including the accompanying Rukka Rimo-R trousers. The garment boasts plenty of storage, including two zippered lower pockets, a pocket at the sleeve, another on the back, and two waterproof inner pockets with an interior sleeve for a smartphone.
