Shark have partnered with IRID and their photochromic technology that uses a liquid crystal film and a solar-powered light sensor to automatically adjust tint in under one second which is dramatically faster than traditional photochromic lenses, that can take 40 seconds or more to darken and minutes to clear. By channeling light directly into the solar panel mounted at the top of the visor, the system powers itself without batteries and provides consistent, distortion-free optical performance. Designed for daytime use, it incorporates a lightly tinted VZ100 base lens and integrated anti-fog capabilities to ensure clarity in varied conditions.
