The Sidi Rex Boots are a flagship high-performance racing boot with a replaceable shin plate, Tecno 3-Push closure system and external fibreglass ankle support.
Designed to exceed the demands of adrenaline-fuelled track days, the Sidi Rex boots were meticulously created with the input and feedback of SBK and MotoGP racers like Bradley Smith and former champion Loris Capirossi for flawless racing performance. Aerodynamic and performance-enhancing, these motorcycle boots are crafted from Technomicro Microfiber, a tough yet lightweight material perfect for high speeds.
The interior of the boots is lined with Maglina Air Teflon, a breathable fabric that keeps your feet cool with a top rubber sole for comfortable wear. The outer lower part of the boot features an air vent, operatable by an aerodynamic shaped button to allow direct airflow to your foot (for increased airflow, see the Sidi Rex Air boots), and a pull tab at the back lets you put the shoes on easily and quickly.
The Sidi boots feature the innovative Tecno-3 Push Closure System, which comprises a system of three steel cables, adjustable with the Techno-3 Push dials for a secure, symmetrical and customised fit. Elastic panels at the front and back of the shoes enable stretch for a comfortable fit.
For protection, the CE-approved Rex Boots are armed to the teeth, featuring a replaceable shin plate that can be loosened with removable screws and a Vortice toe slider reinforced with fibreglass. An external ankle support brace made of solid yet lightweight nylon and fibreglass helps prevent injuries by allowing natural movement but restricting unnatural motions. The asymmetrical heel cup is shaped to make more significant contact with the bike and absorb and spread the force from any hits.
Available in 4 colourways and a dedicated Air version, the Sidi Rex boots offer the perfect blend of protection and performance for the race track.
